Aimee German, Physical Comedy & Clown, daughter of Brenda German King, Originally from Alabama, Aimee brings her Southern Style of comedy to any role she undertakes. She currently lives in NYC where she performs provocative comedy acts at venues including: The Slipper Room, Joe’s Pub, Coney Island SideShow, 3rd Ward, Bleeker St. Theatre, The PIT, The Brick and many, many more…2009 and 2010 played in New Orleans, Jacksonville Fl, Huntsville Al on a “Some Southern States Tour” with Vaudeville Sister Act – Canarsie Suite. The Dublin Fringe hosted her and her Bouffon Compatriots in 2008 with the award-winning show "Bouffon Glass Menajoree." In London, she received a Post Graduate degree at Mountview Academy of Dramatic Art and focusing on physical comedy and acrobatics. She studied Clown and Bouffon with Sue Morrison, Giovanni Fusetti, David Shiner and Phillipe Gaulier. Currently she performs with the Animal Crackers, a zany mix of four lovely Eccentric Dancers. Brenda German King, Music & Comedy, Married, Mother of Aimee & Kris German, moved to Jacksonville Florida from Alabama where roots still run deep. Began performing at 4 years old singing gospel music in Southern Baptist church. Career Highlites include Performing on a national TV series in Nashville in early 60’s, Female Vocalist and percussion with the Supreme Cremes during the late '70's (a touring Funk Band who entertained hundreds of venues on East Coast and Canada.) Opened for BB King locally in 1981. Opened for Lionel Hampton in Gainesville, 1982. Joe's Pub (NYC) with Deenie Nast in 2009, As a chicken in the 2010 New York Burlesque Festival. For Canarsie Suite at the Underbelly (JAX) in 2010. Currently performs with the Corn Cobb Clan, a musical comedy junk band revue and with the EeeDee's (Ecclectic Duo) at multiple venues in Jacksonville.
